Welcome to the premier issue of our new digital magazine, UCon, a Contemporary Arts Communique. United Creators will use this medium to further explore the global arts scene and share with you the insights of creative artists and art patrons who are helping to shape the landscape of contemporary art. For our first issue, we are privileged to feature pop artist William Conroy Lindsay and art patron and actor Barbara Sicuranza, two downtown NYC 'arts citizens' who have two distinct points of view regarding art and commerce.
UCon will be very different from other digital magazines centered on contemporary art. Since United Creators was founded on the principle of 'community', we welcome editorial contributions from members of our online community as well as non-members who have something interesting or important to say about art. We will feature: new and emerging artists who may have never been profiled by other arts publications, issues that affect both artists and art consumers and overviews on art trends and the art marketplace. Editorial copy, gallery & museum reviews, and op-ed letters can be submitted to info@UnitedCreators.com for our review. Your participation and written contributions will be instrumental in helping us direct the course of the UCon digital magazine.
